At Newcastle three lanes are monitored and controlled using a conventional camera with flood IR illumination. The client has measured the accuracy of this system at over 99%. The important consideration here is the provision of User Groups as any one department may have more permitted vehicles than available spaces. The system monitors vehicle access and when a departmental allocation is used up then the vehicle is denied entry but the event is logged.
