Enforcement
Bus / Pedestrian
Talon ALPR is an effective system for bus lane enforcement and enforcement for pedestrianised areas. Talon can detect and identify vehicles using bus lanes or pedestrianised areas during forbidden times. This can be achieved through the use of 'White List' Databases of Buses, Taxis and Emergency vehicles. The vehicles using these restricted areas will be cross checked against the database and images will be stored of the unregistered vehicles using these areas during forbidden times.

Speed / Red Light
The Talon ALPR system can be used to produce a violation fine on speed or red light enforcement systems. The benefit of this means that the manual process of preparing a violation fine can be replaced by an automated process, reducing the time and costs associated with dispatching fines.
Toll Violation
Our Talon ALPR system provides an ideal means of enforcement for the payment of road, bridge or tunnel tolls. High accuracy is of prime importance, as well as high speed of operation. License plates can be automatically cross referenced against a database of registered or unregistered vehicles to act as an enforcement system.
The application operates by the tolling system interrogating a vehicle and finding that it is not tagged or it has no credits remaining on the in car unit. A message can then be sent to Talon causing it to identify the license plate number and to take a supporting picture. This can provide evidence to take action against the offending vehicle.
